We often struggle with endings, fighting then even when we know it’s right.
We hold on, unable to admit defeat or to accept the loss, even when we know it’s right.
And yet, when we do finally let go, we have the opportunity to see the space that is opened up.
Space to grieve our loss and grow.
Space to sort out who we were and who we want to be going forward.
Space for something new and better to emerge.
It’s hard because we can’t see it yet. It just feels rotten.
